Passive Seismic Monitoring

Seismoring is a Swiss company based in Yverdon-les-Baines, specialized in passive seismic surveying methods. Passive seismics, in contrast to active, does not use any seismic sources but relies on the ground’s ambient noise as source.

 

The collected data contain information on seismic events and are inevitable for e.g. risk prevention in drilling. In addition, geological models can be obtained through careful analysis of the obtained data.

 

Seismoring designs the network of surveillance stations, maintains it and delivers extensive analysis and specific interpretation.

 

Our company has several hundred geophones available for installation.
